About The Author

Rosemary pursued her passion for literature and obtained a degree in English and Communications from McGill University. She married her University sweetheart and is now the mother of four wonderful children. She has submersed herself in their upbringing, watching them grow, change and evolve into fine young adults.
Rosemary still lives in Montreal, the woods and the creek live on in her heart while the bugs and the flowers thrive in her beautiful garden.

Every day, she would escape the confines of home and school by going to the creek to talk to the bugs and the frogs, dream with the clouds and savour the flowers.
"Iris and the Dragonflies" was written for her children who rekindled her love for books and fantastical stories. They gave her the chance to be a child again experiencing the world through their bright, inquisitive eyes.

Rosemary grew up in a part of Montreal that no longer exists. The creek in the woods behind her parent’s small apartment is now an industrial development.
